2016演奏パーティ（発表会）プログラム The brochure of the students' annual concert 2016

12月17日土曜日の午後1時～3時と、12月18日日曜日の午後6時30分～8時、8時10分～9時40分に演奏パーティを行います。演奏パーティとは当スクールの発表会のことです。

自由参加ですから、生徒全員が出演しているのではなく、日程の都合が合って、出演を希望する生徒だけが参加します。

会場のキャパは座席数70程度ですから、3部に分けて行います。第1部は17日で、第2部と第3部は18日です。17日には小学3年生以下の生徒、18日には小学校高学年生・中学生・高校生・社会人の生徒が出演します。しかし、ご家族の都合で18日に出演する小学校低学年生もいます。各日、入場時にお飲物をご注文いただきます。ただし、ご注文と同時に「オーダー済みカード」をお渡ししますので、再入場の際にはそのカードをお見せいただければ再オーダーする必要がありません。例えば、両日おいでになる場合、17日にいらして「オーダー済みカード」をもらえば18日にはオーダーすることなくご入場になれます。もちろん、お飲物が欲しい場合、オーダーなさるのはご自由です。

We're going to hold an annual concert in which many of the students voluntarily take part to show their present achievements in December 2016. Though the concert like this is generally called Happyo-kai in Japanese, we call our Happyo-kai the performances party. 

This concert consists of three parts: the 1st set is from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Saturday 17th, the 2nd set is from 6:30 to 8:00 pm on Sunday 18th, and the 3rd set is from 8:10 to 9:40 pm on Sunday 18th. The students under 4th grade of elementary school show their live performance on Saturday and others show up on Sunday. On the stage of Saturday performance, almost all the students play the piano; however, a 1st grade student plays the violin, and two kindergarten students sing songs. On Sunday, many junior-high students play intermediate or advanced pieces on the piano and sing pop tunes with a backing band besides 4th or over elementary students playing the piano. The 3rd set will start 10 minutes after the 2nd set, so you can watch both sets continuously. Please make sure carefully when your acquaintance is going to appear on the stage and be there in advance as early as possible in order not to miss it.

All the audience need to pay 500 yen for a soft drink or 800 yen for an alcohol drink when entering the hall. Then we give you a card, which is proving your payment, with your drink so that you can reenter the hall free without ordering by only showing the card to the front desk clerk. For example, if you order a drink on Saturday, you don't have to order again on Sunday because this card is valid during whole this session.

ウェブカメラを使ったTV電話式レッスン

What's cam?

According to a dictionary I have, cam means 'a part on a wheel that sticks out and changes the CIRCULAR movement of the wheel into up-and-down or backwards-and-forwards movement (OALD 7th edition)'. But I think the following cam just stands for 'web camera'.

The other day, we got a BCC950 ConferenceCam made by Logicool to use it with Skype app for our music lessons. It is standing by the right side of the monitor on the desk in this photo.

Even if a student cannot come to the lesson room due to the storm or the like, we will be able to offer him/her the lesson through Skype.

 BCC950 Conferncecam has 180° pan and 55° tilt, that's why we can use it putting on a high or low place to film well playing not only the piano but other instruments such as violin and guitar as well. 

As for the theory class students, I've been thinking it is a waste of money for them that they need to spend so long time alone to solve problems in harmony by themselves during every lesson. 

I expect Skype to stop wasting time and reduce students' frustration. For instance, once the students finished solving some harmony problems first, they call me or another instructor with Skype and get us to check their solutions, and after being pointed out their mistakes, they hang up Skype to correct mistakes spending more time; then they call us again with Skype if they finished solving problems anew. In the way like this, the students will certainly have enough time to meet problems without worrying about wasting money.

Let me know if you want to try taking a theory lesson in this style. I will offer some lessons for free for a while using Skype, regarding them as just experiments toward the next stage.

今のところ、100%の生徒が教室まで通ってくれるか、私が生徒宅に出張するかの形でレッスンしていますから、写真ではモニターの右横や上に置いてみた、このロジクールBCC950 ConferenceCam というウェブカメラはレッスンには用いていないですね。残念。

台風で教室まで来られない時とか、遠隔地にいて教室まで通えない方にはSkypeなどのアプリを使ってTV電話式レッスンをするのもよいと思います。しかし音楽のレッスンですから通話者双方でそれなりのネット環境と撮影機器が整っていないとレッスンが成立するに足る良い音・良い画像が送れないようです。ご興味のある方はメールでご質問ください。ピアノだけでなく、ヴァイオリン、ギター、フルートなどのレッスンができる余地が室内にあります。

ところで、作曲や音楽理論をレッスンしていていつも思うことは、レッスン中に生徒が自分で考えるために使う時間がどうしても長くなるので、例えば和声の課題を解く場合、1時間かけて１～２題しか解けないこともあり、それは生徒からすればちょっとお金がもったいないのでは、ということです。ですから、教室に出向かないで、自宅である課題が解けたらSkypeして先生に見てもらって、訂正すべきところやその方法をモニター画面上に譜面やピアノを映し出して教えてもらい、一旦、Skypeを閉じて、訂正が終わったらまたSkypeで連絡する、なんてレッスン形態がいいかもしれないです。ちょっとやってみたい人は連絡ください。初めは、実験という意味で、無料でレッスンいたします。

バンドやりたい小中学生なら

これからバンドやりたい人にお薦めのRさん。まだ高3で、規律の厳しい学校に通っているからアルバイトというものは卒業までできないそうですが、卒業したらOKスタジオでギターが教えられそうな感じです。

これからバンドを組んでギターを担当したい小中学生に、基本のコードワークやステージマナー、バンドでの演奏法などを教えてもらうことになります（経験者も可）。

Rさんは長い間OKスタジオの生徒で、私にピアノを山口聖講師にギターを習っていましたが、まだ生徒だったRさんに惹かれてギター科に入った人もいるくらいなので、来年の新たな出会いにも期待が持てます。

ちなみに今年のOKスタジオ演奏パーティ（発表会）に賛助出演の予定です。ホシアイ、キセキ、小さな恋の歌、などを女子中学生のヴォーカルをサポートする形で演奏します。12月18日神楽坂TheGleeにて、となる予定ですので、お楽しみに。（念のために12月になりましたら当方ホームページ、ブログで再確認ください。）

How to use our rooms for your music

Thank you for many inquiries.

Now I need to tell you how to use our renewal facilities for your studying music.

If you would like to learn playing the piano for the first time, YAMAHA DGP-1 in the Room 1 is available. DGP stands for Digital Grand Piano and this piano is also called Gran' Touch. Besides biginners, intermediates study playing the piano often using it.

When the intermediate or advanced students need to complete playing some classical piano pieces, YAMAHA GC1SN settled in the Room 3 is recommended. In this case you have to pay ¥1000 per within an hour in addition to the regular lesson fee.

Room 1

The Room 1 is such a large space as to be suitable for an ensemble practice as well.

Room 3

The Room 3 has a desktop computer, so that you can use Skype app for lesoons in various instruments.

Room 2

 The Room 2 is used for the lesson in voice (vocal), violin, flute, guitar, bass guitar or Keyboard. This room is equiped with a vocal amp, a mic stand, guitar amps, bass amps, a keyboard amp, and even a fridge, especially for vocal students to moisten their throat with a drink.

Every student of OK studio can use each room for free except the Room 3 as long as the room is vacant. Flute or violin students would, however, be required to pay charge that is ¥500 for the Room 2 or ¥1000 for the Room 1 per within an hour. Persons other than the students of OK studio are also allowed to use the Room 1 and/or the Room 2 with the same charge.

レッスン室リニューアル情報

秋を迎えるにあたり、レッスン室を改装しましたのでお知らせいたします。

 

Room 1  ピアノ&学習室 (12帖)

YAMAHA DGP-1 Gran' Touch が設置されています。

初級から中級までのピアノレッスン、その他の楽器やアンサンブルのレッスン、ジャズチャンツそして学習指導に用いる部屋です。

 

Room 2  ヴォーカル室 (5帖)


ヴォーカル、ギター、ヴァイオリン、フルート、キーボードのレッスンに用います。

各種アンプ、マイクスタンドも揃っています。特にヴォーカル科生徒が喉を潤しながらレッスンが受けられるように冷蔵庫が備え付けてあります。スタッキングテーブルにより部屋のレイアウトは自由です。お友達との自習にも使えます。

 

Room 3  グランドピアノ&PC室 (7.5帖)

YAMAHA GC1SN が設置されています。

主にクラシック上級者のピアノレッスンに用います。サイレント機能付なので朝8時から夜10時までの個人練習もできます。

また、部屋の窓側にパソコンと3帖程度の空間を設けましたので、Skypeにより各種楽器のテレビ電話レッスンができます。

 

 

 

 空室であれば生徒は無料でRoom 3以外の部屋を使うことができます（フルート科・ヴァイオリン科は有料）。

※外部の方の練習・学習に、Room 1 と Room 2 をお貸しすることが可能です。

Room 1 は1時間につき1000円（1時間未満同額、DGP・キーボード使用料込み）、Room 2 は500円（1時間未満同額、キーボード使用料込み、各種アンプ使用料別）です。

夏合宿七日目

7月31日

午前10時に国民宿舎仙酔島をチェックアウトすると、一路、倉敷美観地区へ。「升屋」さんで倉敷ラーメンを美味しくいただき、倉敷市立自然史博物館に行く。

ここは初めて訪れるが、昆虫標本などが充実していて退屈しなかった。今回の合宿参加者のような生物や歴史が好きな小学生を連れて来るには格好の場所と言える。

僕らは美観地区の商店街でお土産を買うと、岡山で新幹線に乗り、東京へ向かった。

合宿を終え8月に入るとすぐに東京にはゲリラ豪雨が何度も襲ってきた。梅雨明け宣言が出て間もないというのに。
平年より早く、7月18日に梅雨が明けていた広島は、僕らのいない今もよく晴れているらしい。

夏合宿六日目

7月30日

朝8時頃上下町をあとにした僕らは、福山駅に出て、駅ビル内の「サンマルクカフェ」さんでスイーツをいただく。僕はここのプリンアラモードのファンだ。そのあと、鞆鉄バスで鞆の浦(鞆港)へ。鞆の浦の「いろは」さんで昼食。このお店は宮崎駿さんがデザインされ、女将はポニョのモデルとなったらしい。店内のBGMはジブリの音楽だった。久石サウンドをバックに、僕は鯛アボガド丼膳をいただく。上品な潮の味わい。

そのあと、市営渡船で仙酔島に渡り、海水浴。よく晴れていてたちまち日焼けしそうだ。1時間半ほど泳いだらチェックインの時間となる。本日の宿泊場所は「国民宿舎仙酔島」さん。お風呂も夕食も素晴らしかったが、生徒たちが何より喜んだのは、宿舎が企画する、この無人島の星空の下での海ホタル採集イベントだ。
夏の大三角を形成する星座を始め、星々がはっきりくっきり見えるのは東京の夜空とかなり異なるが、その星空に負けず劣らず美しかったのが海ホタルであった。上の写真は星ではなく、瞬く海ホタル。

海ホタル採集・観賞のイベントに参加申し込みをした宿泊客は、夜8時20分に浜辺に集合して釣具を受け取る。釣具と言っても、3mぐらいの紐の先にラムネの瓶が結わかれていて、その瓶の中に釣餌が入った特殊なものだ。

紐の、瓶の結わかれていない方の一端をしっかりと片手に巻き付けて、空いた方の手で瓶を浜辺から海中（波打ち際）に投げ込む。5分ほど放置してから紐をたぐり寄せ瓶を引き上げ、瓶の中にいっぱいに入った海水を夜の真っ暗な浜辺にぶちまける。そして、海水をぶちまけた砂の辺りを手のひらでパンパンと勢いよく叩く。すると浜辺の砂が青白く光り出すではないか。いや、光っているのは砂ではない。瓶の中の海水に含まれていた海ホタルという甲殻類の生物だ。叩かれた刺激に対する防御反応、威嚇で光るのだ。
海ホタルがよく採れる条件の一つは海がキレイということだそうだ。無人島なので生活用水が流れ込まない海。

いよいよ、明日、帰京だ。
